Choose a mode, style and difficulty

Pick a mode

There are 5 playable modes. Online Head-to-Head and Online PvP are marked Coming Soon / Locked; use a same-screen or CPU mode to play now.

Mode Who plays How the winner is decided Draft order Availability
Solo Run You Your score across the 110-0 Challenge Pick your own team Playable
Head-to-Head Two people on one screen Compare challenge wins Alternate picks Playable
Vs CPU You and the CPU Compare challenge wins Alternate picks Playable
CPU PvP You and the CPU Direct team battle Snake draft Playable
PvP Head-to-head Two people on one screen Direct team battle Snake draft Playable
Online Head-to-Head Players on separate screens — — Coming Soon / Locked
Online PvP Players on separate screens — — Coming Soon / Locked

For a challenge score, choose Solo, Head-to-Head or Vs CPU. For a battle where HP and send-out order matter, choose CPU PvP or PvP Head-to-head. In a snake draft, the opening picker takes a pick, the other player takes two, then the opening picker takes two; continue until each team has 6 members.

Choose Regular or Category for the challenge

Regular Mode builds your team in pick order. Category Mode asks you to place each pick in an empty slot: Starter, Attacker, Defensive Anchor, Speedster, Mythical / UB / Mega, or Legendary.

The two styles use different curse conditions. Choose the matching style in the Team Builder and read the 110-0 guide before spending a pick on a member that cannot meet your team requirements.

Choose how much help you want while picking

Difficulty What you see How you pick
Normal Pokémon image, name and types Search for a name and select a candidate
Hard A black silhouette; no name or types Identify and select a silhouette
Tuffest No candidate cards Enter the exact name of a legal candidate

BST, the total of a Pokémon's base stats, is hidden during the draft. These difficulties change the information available while you pick; they use the same victory rules.

In Tuffest, you can enter the game's hyphenated name or its displayed name. Capitalization and spaces at the beginning or end do not affect the match.

Names to type in Tuffest

If a familiar Pokémon name gives you No match, copy its Tuffest spelling below. For Mega forms, the game puts Mega after the Pokémon's name; use the listed spelling when you type your pick.

Your pick must still match the current generation and type and remain available in the draft. If the listed spelling gives you No match, check those conditions before using your reroll.

Daily Solo starts and one reroll

Solo allows 3 starts per difficulty each day, giving 9 starts across Normal, Hard and Tuffest. Regular and Category share the allowance for the difficulty you chose. A start uses an attempt when you enter the Solo run, so choose your style and difficulty before pressing Play.

Guest attempts reset on the next local calendar date on your device. Returning to the same browser keeps the current day's starts recorded.

Each player has 1 Reroll per run. Use it to replace the current generation-and-type draw when its candidates do not suit your team. A legal pick must match the current generation and at least one current type, and cannot already belong to either drafted team. Check candidates in the Team Builder's Draft view before committing your choice.

Guest stats and saved teams

After a Solo or Vs CPU run, My Stats records your completed games, best record and worst record. Open My Stats on the game's home screen to review them.

Save a completed team to Favorites if you want to revisit it. A team that wins every stage qualifies for Hall of Fame. The result screen lets you save the team, and My Stats lets you return to the collection.

Guest stats, saved teams and purchases stay in the browser and device where you played. Use that same browser to return to them; clearing its saved game data removes the guest records. For Plum Coin rewards and purchases, use Shop & Coins.

Find recorded results and rankings

Scroll to Leaderboard on the official game home screen. It ranks perfect Solo runs separately for Normal, Hard and Tuffest, with All-Time and Weekly views showing the top 25 per difficulty. The weekly period begins on Monday in your local timezone.

Use My Stats to check your own recorded runs, or the game's Leaderboard to view its rankings. For the causes of a challenge loss, put the team into Team Builder and check the failed conditions and risky stages.
